I figured out a long time ago that PS users should never expect Sony to figure out what PS users expect Sony to do.
I use the PS4 one all the time, if only to show my PSN friends what I'm talking about, esp. when they're foreigners. Y'know, send them a pic, a URL to watch a video...
I am looking for a console. An elaborated, sophisticated one, that's worthy of the 21st century. And that gives me as much bang as possible for my bucks. The PS5 is not that console, for the time being at least.
I don't have a smartphone. They are way too expensive, and don't get me started on the insufferable monthly fees I'd have to pay, on top of the ISP monthly fee (and water, electricity, etc). You forgot one thing, that I think is paramount: gamers want the possibility to host online games, so they can play them online forever, in case precisely this happens. And it happens, and will keep happening, and we will keep being robbed of, at least a portion of our games, if not the whole game (MAG...), because for whatever reason devs constantly forget to implement that option that is found in a few games, like Warhawk on the PS3 for ex. which allows us to turn our console into an online...
I got to try it thanks to PS+ and, I can't say it left me impressed. I liked Bloodstained Ritual of the Night much more, in terms of Metroidvania game. Not to mention Castlevania Symphony of the Night, ofc. Hollow Knight, with its monochromatic, somber and ethereal atmosphere, its comparatively more secluded world, devoid of life and with very few things to see and do and purchase, I don't know... It just didn't click with me. Maybe I should give it a second chance later on at som...

That's one thing that was in the original game, even the PS2 port I played back then, that was sorely missing in the remake I own on PS4. I'm gonna have to build myself a serious gamer's PC one day, and rebuy some of the games I have on console to play with mods...

Yes, if only for the satisfaction to finally play those games in widescreen and, for the first time on Playstation, a PC-like visual presentation. But gameplay, level design and progression structure have aged quite a bit.
As an avid fan of the genre, I would like to have more than MGS5 The Definitive Experience and Hitman S01 & 02 (hopefully also S03 soon when there's a sale) to play on my PS4, but haven't found anything anywhere close to these, aside from some games that do have some stealth elements in them like Ghost of Tsushima or Assassin's Creed Origins & Odyssey, but don't fully play that card. I'd like more, like a new Splinter Cell for example, or anything else. I'm ope...
I doubt it. Specs aside, the PS5 is an inferior product to the PS4 in just about every way. I'm staying with my Pro and, if it weren't for The Returnal, I wouldn't even care throwing a look at the PS5, for the time being at least.
It was good with that redesign in 2009 though, the "blue one" with the gently pulsating cursor. It all turned to cr@p with the last redesign... can't even browse it for more than a few minutes without being thrown back to the dashboard UI now.
I want a shark game. A bit like Hydrophobia Prophecy, but in a more realistic setting. Just because I like this kind of movies/games when the summer comes :)
